Fine Cracklin/Gratons from LeBlanc's Speciatly Meats in Lafayette.
---  Porkalicious!!!  Shockingly good.  We didn't even get them hot, but these nuggets of fried pork perfection were awesome.  They're gently seasoned and offer a great ratio of meat to fat to skin.  The meat is cooked to the point where it gives some crunch, but not so much that it is too dry.  This stop, just off of Interstate 10, is definitely worth a try!!  It was nice that they had tiny bags ready to go.

    You NAILED IT. stayed in lafayette to get out of nola with family (visiting family cemetery up north and that is just absent of anywhere decent to stay). so looked up where i could get some good cajun cracklins and boudin. on our way to nola to catch our flight, i made my husband stop here. LORD ALL MIGHTY ARE THEY GOOD. had a small bag of cracklins (that will only take 3 months to work off in the gym :-) and a link of the hot boudin. it is now the reason i can't live in lafayette. i would be 500 lbs.. sweet jesus they are good.

    FYI, this place is at same location and same phone number, but now called Alexander's Specialty Meats. Went for first time today and the cracklin was great.
