Cracklin from Ray's Grocery Plus
 --- Is it just me, or do these folks always have a little chip on their shoulder?  The cracklin are, uh, uninspired; moslty skin and fat and very light seasoning.  Salt, and salt alone, seems like the primary seasoning.  They are exceptionally crunchy, but this is due to their having been over cooked.  Lastly, they exuded a subtle lack of freshness.

    They definitely have a chip on their shoulder - it's mostly racism & fear of change. As for their cracklins - They buy them for really cheap from another place, then they sell them for $12.99 per lb. When confronted about their cracklins not being made on site, they will become defensive to the point of near violence. Yet, it is easy to spot their lie bc, in their pursuit of greed, they sell the buckets used to transport these cracklins from the cook point to the store for $8 right next to the check out counter... Needless to say, their cracklins are never fresh. 1st when they reach the store they arrive as cold leftovers from a different place, 2nd if what they have heating in the warmer all day does not sell - they will reheat it the next day. This place deserves 0 gratons.
